Our Kindergarten

A place with heart. For little personalities.

Growing, discovering and feeling at home together.

Mission Statement of Our Protestant Daycare Center

Living together – growing together.

  • Every person is valuable

Our work is guided by the Christian understanding of humanity. We believe that every person is unique and loved by God. That is why we treat children, families and staff with respect, appreciation and compassion.

We accompany each child on their individual path of development. In doing so, we create an atmosphere of security, trust and recognition in which children can discover their abilities, act independently and develop their personality.

  • Christian faith in everyday life

As a Protestant daycare center, Christian faith is an important part of our everyday life. Together, we listen to Bible stories, sing, pray and celebrate the festivals of the church year.

Through our close cooperation with our parish, children and families experience Christian community. Regular activities offered by church educators and church musicians enrich everyday life at our daycare center and strengthen the connection between the daycare center and the parish.

We take children’s questions about God, life and the world seriously and accompany them with openness and respect.

  • Education and development

Our educational work is based on the Saxon Daycare Act and the Saxon Educational Plan.

Children learn through discovery, play and experimentation. That is why we create stimulating learning and experience environments in which they can pursue their interests and develop their skills.

We support each child individually, document their development and help them prepare well for the transition to school.

In our daycare center, children with and without additional support needs learn together. We see diversity as an enrichment. Every child belongs and is accepted in their uniqueness.

  • Working together with families

Parents are the most important people in their children’s lives and our partners in their upbringing.

We meet all families with openness, respect and trust. Their opinions, experiences and wishes are important to us. Together, we create positive conditions for the children’s development.

Through conversations, joint events and the involvement of the parents’ council, we encourage active communication and a trusting partnership.

  • Responsibility for society and creation

We take responsibility for the children entrusted to us as well as for our environment.

We treat creation and natural resources with care and encourage sustainable action in everyday life.

As part of the local community, we work together with schools, counselling services, public authorities and other partners. In this way, we create good conditions for children’s development and a successful transition to school.

Our work is guided by the legal framework of the Free State of Saxony as well as the principles of Diakonie Saxony.

  • Shaping quality together

We see ourselves as a learning community. Through regular reflection, professional development and open dialogue, we continuously develop our educational work.

Appreciative interaction, mutual support and responsible action shape the way we work together as a team.

We want to be a daycare center where children, families and staff experience community, find trust and shape the future together.
