Our Groups
Every season tells its own story.
Four groups, four different worlds of experience – and one shared idea: supporting children with care, giving them space, and growing together.
Growing, discovering and feeling at home together.
Our Groups
Four groups, four different worlds of experience – and one shared idea: supporting children with care, giving them space, and growing together.
Our youngest children
“Hello, we are the children of the Winter Group!” There is always something going on with us – in every season of the year! In our nursery group, our youngest children can take their first steps into the community, play, explore, marvel at the world around them and discover everything at their own pace.
Our days are filled with many little and big experiences. We play, sing, laugh, move around and try out all kinds of things. There is always something new for every child to discover. Sometimes we play together, while at other times there is space to quietly observe, explore and experiment.
A special moment in our week usually takes place on Fridays during our little “Children’s Time”. Together, we listen to stories from the Bible, sing songs and gently become familiar with our first prayers.
Above all, it is about experiencing a sense of community and feeling safe, accepted and cared for.
When a new child joins our group, Mum or Dad is very welcome to stay with us for a while. This gives us plenty of time to get to know one another, while the child can gradually build trust in us and in their new surroundings.
After an exciting morning and a delicious lunch, things become a little quieter and cosier. Each child finds their place in their own little sleeping nest and snuggles up under their blanket.
We listen to a lullaby, and when the little sleep bell rings, our quiet time begins.
After nap time, the afternoon is waiting for us – with plenty of time to play, explore and enjoy being together.
In the Winter Group, our youngest children are free to simply be children. They are lovingly supported, can grow at their own pace and experience every day that they are welcome, safe and cared for with us.
After-school care · Grades 1–4
“Hello, we are the children of the Spring Group!” Our Spring Room is located on the ground floor of our kindergarten. This is where children from Grades 1 to 4 come together after school to enjoy their free time.
After lunch, it is homework time first. We take care of everything that still needs to be done for school, and afterwards the best part of the afternoon begins – our time together.
And of course, we always have plenty of ideas! On the way to after-school care and during lunch, we talk, laugh, discuss and think about what we would like to do once our homework is finished.
We especially enjoy meeting in the basement rooms to play table football.
When the weather is nice, we naturally love spending time outside. Our large garden offers plenty of space to run around, play and be active. Here we can enjoy activities together or simply spend a good time with friends.
There is always something going on with us – and most importantly: time to play, laugh and enjoy being together. Sometimes time passes so quickly that we would rather not go home just yet.
That is probably the best sign that we truly feel at home in our Spring Group!
Kindergarten · Ages 3–6
“Hello, we are the children of the Summer Group!” Don’t worry – there is not only something happening here in summer! Our group is full of life, ideas and happy children aged 3 to 6 all year round.
Every day there is plenty for us to discover, try out and experience together. We play, laugh, sing, make music, move around and let our imagination run free.
Every child has their own place in the group and can contribute their individual interests and abilities.
Our building corner is especially popular. With building blocks, cars and lots of imagination, new structures and play worlds are created again and again.
Things get cosy in the doll corner: we cook, go shopping, take care of the family and experience all kinds of exciting stories through imaginative play.
Music is also an important part of everyday life in our group. We enjoy singing together, trying out different instruments and making music as a group.
And whenever creativity takes over, we paint, craft and create – producing many little works of art that we can be proud of.
Children with additional support needs are, of course, also a natural part of our group. They belong fully to our community and are supported according to their individual needs.
In this way, the children learn that everyone has their own special strengths and that we can achieve many things together.
Whether we are playing, crafting, singing, building or running around – there is something for every child to enjoy. We love our colourful community and all the little and big experiences we share together every day.
And because we are the Summer Group, we naturally bring a little sunshine with us – in every season of the year!
Kindergarten · Ages 3–6
“Hello and a warm welcome to our Autumn Group!” We are a cheerful and colourful group of children aged 3 to 6. There is always something going on with us: we play, laugh, sing, make music, move around, get creative and discover the world together.
Our day begins at 9:00 a.m. with our morning circle. This is a time to connect with one another, talk about what is on our minds, see what the day has in store for us and get ready for the morning together.
Afterwards, we dive into our group activities with lots of joy and curiosity. Every child is encouraged to contribute their own ideas and discover their individual interests.
Sometimes we build and play with great enthusiasm, sometimes we create colourful works of art, or let our imagination run free through music and movement. And of course, a little silliness and mischief are simply part of being a child!
Our group also includes children with additional support needs. They are a natural part of our community and are supported according to their individual needs.
Every day, we experience how wonderful it is when children play together, learn from one another and are there for each other.
Of course, we also celebrate special days together. On our Baptism Day, we gather in a cosy circle, light candles, sing together and enjoy a little treat. After all, celebrating together is twice as much fun.
Our group is just as colourful as autumn itself: every child is unique and brings something special with them. And that is exactly what makes our community so wonderful!
